Kirsten Marsh
Founder & Principal
Born and bred in beautiful British Columbia, Kirsten completed her legal education in Ontario before returning to her home province to clerk for two justices at the BC Court of Appeal. She practiced as a commercial litigator at a national law firm in Vancouver, focusing on complex commercial disputes, class action defence, product liability, public law disputes, and appellate advocacy. In addition to her litigation experience, her work as a legal researcher has given her broad exposure to family law, personal injury, employment law, and municipal law. Kirsten is licensed to practise law in British Columbia.
Kirsten founded her firm as a modern alternative to traditional law firms, specializing exclusively in legal research and writing for litigators. Her approach prioritizes both high-quality legal work and a sustainable work-life balance, proving that excellence in law doesn’t have to come at the cost of well-being. As a passionate advocate for mental health, Kirsten openly shares her own mental health journey to help normalize these conversations and drive change in the industry. Through her practice, she is committed to demonstrating that a successful legal career can coexist with mental well-being.
With a fully remote legal practice, Kirsten splits her time between Vancouver and Pemberton, BC. When she’s not working, she’s typically skiing, hiking, or cold plunging! She also devotes volunteer and pro bono hours to support the animal rights movement.
